My calling is to show that the Lord is upright that none fall short of the glory. In layman’s terms, this simply means I am called to increase people’s stature. God is upright if those who follow him are not brought to shame. A fall (shortfall, falling flat on one’s face) proves folly and being left “the last man standing” proves being right. Hence walking with one’s head up rather than cowering and hiding. Moreover even growing an inch taller and carrying a chip on one’s shoulder. Stature is status, stateliness, an establishment in as far as a name, house, reputation, dynasty and being of no mean size (not short). It is having a standing. It is understanding where one stands. It is, having done all to stand, standing therefore. It is withstanding in the evil day. It is being a standard believer by whom the Spirit of the Lord may raise up a standard against the enemy when he comes in like a flood. It is growing up into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
